Bangkok Christian College is currently seeking a qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher for Grades 10 to 12. The position will commence on May 5th, and interviews are starting immediately. Candidates must be located in Thailand and be available for either in-person or online interviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach 24 forty-minute periods per week.
- Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with an early finish at 3:15 pm on Fridays.
- Attend several weekend parent meetings and school events throughout the year (typically two or three times).
Employment Criteria:
- Native English speaker from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area.
- Teaching credentials (e.g., MEd, PGCE, or PGCEi) are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years of high school teaching experience, preferably in Thailand.
- Must currently reside in Thailand.
- Able to start on May 5th.
- Required to provide original diplomas, certificates, passport, and transcripts at the initial interview.
Compensation:
- Qualified teachers with teaching credentials will receive a salary of 73,000 to 75,000 Baht per month.
- Those without teaching credentials will receive 59,000 Baht per month.
- A 40,000 Baht contract completion bonus (pro rata based on joining date).
- Annual salary increment up to 3,000 Baht.
- A 12-month contract including at least 8 weeks of paid holidays in March/April, October, and December, plus all Thai public holidays.
- Medical insurance, work permits, and visa extensions are provided.
- Opportunities for extra classes are available.
- 7 paid sick days annually.
- Free daily lunch when on campus.
