Teaching responsibilities will primarily include Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement in Key Stage 5 based on experience and school needs.
The ideal candidate will inspire students of all abilities to participate confidently in physical activities, balancing inclusive participation with opportunities for competitive sports. Beyond classroom teaching, the role includes contributing to extracurricular sports activities, coaching teams, organizing fixtures, and supporting events that enhance student experiences. Experience with school swimming programs is advantageous given our facilities.
This role offers a two-year contract beginning August 1st, 2026, with the opportunity to work in a supportive, forward-thinking international school environment where sports are integral to student wellbeing and development.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging PE lessons, supporting a balanced curriculum, and using assessments to monitor progress. The teacher will also foster a positive sporting culture, encourage participation, and contribute to extracurricular activities like coaching and organizing competitions. Additional duties involve promoting inclusive participation, supporting competitive pathways, contributing to the pastoral system (potentially as a Homeroom Teacher), communicating with parents, and engaging with the broader school community through events and activities.

A minimum of two years of teaching experience is required, preferably with secondary PE students. Experience in extracurricular sports programs and effective teaching methods is essential. Experience in international schools, familiarity with IGCSE or A Level PE, and managing school swimming programs are highly desirable. A commitment to global citizenship, modern teaching approaches, and student engagement is also valued.

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
