Job Description:
From August 2024, we require a PE specialist, capable of offering an additional subject - ideally, Maths, Science or Humanities to KS3 level students.
The successful applicant will join a welcoming and dedicated team of international colleagues in this happy, supportive and collaborative community. It is important that the successful candidate has a secure working knowledge of teaching PE to students in KS3 and KS4, and is able to offer an additional curriculum subject.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience, ideally in an international school setting
- Familiarity with effective pedagogy (including the ability to use assessment for learning tools and student-centred approaches)
- The ability to cultivate students' passion for the subject(s) taught, and to develop higher order thinking skills
- The desire to contribute positively to the growth and development of our school
