Job Description:
Seeking: Full-Time Teacher for grades 1 to 6 students. 4 days / week. Hours are roughly 12:00 – 7:00 pm Monday to Thursdays. Tuesdays off! 1 day a week will be until later. Just 4 work days per week! Approximately 30 on-campus hours with about 21.5 of those being in class teaching hours. Classes start either 1 pm or 1:30, so teachers have time to prepare for class and chat with students while they eat lunch. These hours would mostly be teaching grades 1 and 2. As our younger students have 10 hours of English per week, you can see real results in your kiddies and build lasting relationships. Welcome teachers with BA (or higher) from English-speaking countries. ABC’s welcome. We have a complete, well-designed reading-based curriculum, but we still appreciate implementation of creative new ideas. We do, however, want teaching to be student-centered with lots of paired and small group speaking practice for kids. We can give you tips and suggestions on how to get ‘em speaking. We want our students to love learning and learn well. Parkside School is located near the brown line, just an 8-minute walk from Dong Hu MRT Station (brown line, just a couple of stops north of the blue line) in Nei Hu District. We offer 70-80k per month. School provides lunch. Start in August.
