Job Description:
We are looking for a professional, career-minded individual for a full-time ESL teaching position in Taiwan’s beautiful, modern Linkou District. You will work with a team of teachers from the United States, Canada, and Taiwan.
Our newly-built school sports bright and spacious classrooms with plenty of natural sunlight. We offer English as a foreign language courses for students aged 13 and younger. The position consists of approximately 20 to 22 teaching hours per week, mostly spread from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 6 pm. Additional evening classes are available at our other schools nearby for those who wish to add additional hours to their schedules.
Starting Date:
August 2024
Package:
Starting pay range from 650 to 700 NTD per teaching hour, based on qualifications and experience
Additional 3,000 NTD per month compensation for completing outside-of-class work
Guaranteed minimum of 20 teaching hours per week
Annual appraisals with raises up to 40 NTD per teaching hour, with a ceiling of 800 NTD per hour
Contract completion bonuses
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Passport from a country where English is an official language (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, etc.)
Can commit to at least one year of full-time work
Must be able to pass a national-level criminal background check
A positive attitude, willingness to learn and professional approach to the job
