Job Description:

Learn Satit Pattana School (LSP) in Bangkok is currently hiring a full-time Social Studies Teacher for their ISP Program. This role involves teaching Grade 9-10 students, focusing on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Model United Nations (MUN), and World History, with opportunities to conduct Advanced Placement (AP) courses. The ideal candidate should be passionate about educating students on the historical and social context of contemporary issues, both locally and globally.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons in Social Studies, developing a curriculum aligned with Thai and US standards, and exploring topics such as civics, economics, geography, and world history. The teacher will also be responsible for instructing AP courses like AP Psychology and AP Macroeconomics, fostering critical thinking, and assessing student progress. Additionally, they should maintain a positive classroom environment and collaborate with colleagues on instructional practices.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience and a teaching license from Kurusapa is preferred. The candidate should be a native English speaker with excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in teaching AP courses is advantageous.
