The Newton Sixth Form in Bangkok is seeking qualified and experienced Subject Specific Teachers for Secondary Education. The school, part of the Newton Group established in 2019, is centrally located a few minutes' walk from Siam BTS. It offers an IGCSE, IAL, and BTEC curriculum under Pearson and has a diverse teaching team of international and Thai educators with strong English proficiency.
Positions Available:
1. Physics Teacher for IGCSE (Years 10/11), with potential support for IAL (Years 12/13).
2. Lower Secondary General Science Teacher (Years 8/9).
3. Chemistry Teacher for IGCSE (Years 10/11), with potential support for IAL (Years 12/13).
4. Mathematics Teacher for IGCSE (Years 10/11), with potential support for IAL (Years 12/13).
5. Accounting Teacher for BTEC (Years 12/13).
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant field, preferably with a teaching qualification such as TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of in-class teaching experience for the relevant subject and age group.
- Familiarity with Pearson IGCSE and IAL programs is advantageous but not required.
- Preference for native English speakers residing in Thailand or Thai nationals with native-like English proficiency.
Benefits:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00.
