Subject Specific Teachers for Secondary
The Newton Sixth Form in Bangkok is seeking qualified subject-specific teachers for its secondary section. The Newton Group, established in 2019, is centrally located in Bangkok, just a few minutes' walk from Siam BTS. The school offers education from grades 2-7 in the primary section and grades 8-13 in the senior section, with a focus on IGCSE, IAL (International A-Level), and BTEC curricula under Pearson. Our teaching team comprises both international and Thai teachers who possess native-like English proficiency.
Available Positions:
1. Physics Teacher for IGCSE (Grades 10/11) and, if qualified, IAL (Grades 12/13).
2. English Teacher for upper secondary, focusing on test preparation for IELTS and/or SAT (Grades 11-13).
3. General Science Teacher for lower secondary (Grades 8/9).
4. Chemistry Teacher for IGCSE (Grades 10/11) and, if qualified, IAL (Grades 12/13).
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant field, preferably with a teaching qualification such as TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent.
- At least one year of in-class teaching experience with the relevant age group.
- Familiarity with Pearson IGCSE and IAL programs is advantageous but not required.
- Preference for native English speakers, especially those residing in Thailand, and Thai nationals with native-like English proficiency.
Benefits:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00.
- Ideal start date: January 2026, negotiable depending on current employment circumstances.
- Salary: Minimum starting salary of ฿50,000 per month, adjustable based on qualifications and experience.
