Job Description:
The environment created by the support teacher at One Hope International School is one that is structured, supportive, and adaptive to meet the unique needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through personalized instruction, collaboration with families and professionals, and behavioral support, the support teacher plays a crucial role in helping students with ASD excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
- Utilize various teaching methods such as visual aids and hands-on activities to accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess and monitor students' class performance.
- Provide behavioral and emotional support.
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to establish a cohesive support system.
- Stay updated on the latest teaching methods for special education.
- Advocate for students' rights to ensure they receive appropriate accommodations and support.
- Prepare and implement necessary accommodations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in special education.
- 1-2 years of experience working with students with special needs.
- Preferably female.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience.
- Strong adaptability and communication skills.

- Salary range of ฿25,000 - ฿35,000.
