Suratthani International School (STIS) is the leading international school in Surat Thani, Thailand, and is currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join its team. We have an immediate opening for a Kindergarten 1 position (ages 3-4), with additional kindergarten and primary positions available in August 2025. STIS follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, providing a supportive and collaborative environment with a team of 16 foreign and 25 Thai teachers. Our teachers work closely with small, well-behaved, and eager-to-learn students, creating real connections in modern, air-conditioned classrooms equipped with abundant resources, teaching assistants, and a strong focus on creativity.
Located in the charming city of Surat Thani, which offers a low cost of living and convenient access to famous islands and beaches, STIS provides a rich cultural experience blended with modern amenities. We offer a competitive salary starting at 50,000 THB per month, a 12-month contract, a maximum of 25 teaching hours per week, paid holidays, visa and work permit assistance, free lunch, group health insurance, and opportunities for professional development. ⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
