Job Description:

Teaching Assistant Position at Forest Hill International School

Forest Hill International School is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Teaching Assistant. This full-time role is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and implementing instructional activities that align with the curriculum.
- Support students during lessons by reinforcing concepts and helping them achieve learning objectives.
- Prepare classroom materials like handouts and visual aids to facilitate instruction.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Provide individual or small group support to students, adapting approaches to meet their needs.
- Monitor student progress and report back to the teacher.
- Assist in maintaining classroom order and discipline.
- Collaborate with the teacher on lesson planning and student assessment strategies.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining student records and grading assignments.
- Ensure a safe and healthy classroom environment.
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field preferred; relevant certification or undergraduate degree may be accepted.
- Experience in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
- Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with educational technology and classroom management software.
