Mahidol University International Demonstration School in Salaya, Nakhon Pathom, is seeking a full-time Thai Studies Teacher. The position offers a salary of at least ฿75,000 per month.
Qualifications:
- Must be of Thai nationality.
- Proficiency in Thai and successful completion of an English proficiency test recognized by Mahidol University.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, with a major or minor in Thai Social Studies and Thai Language.
- Ability to teach Thai Social Studies and Thai Language is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is required.
English Proficiency Requirements:
- IELTS (Academic Module) score of 6 or equivalent.
- TOEFL iBT score of 79 or equivalent.
- TOEFL IITP score of 550 or equivalent.
- MU Grad Test score of 80 or equivalent.
- MU Grad Plus score of 90 or equivalent.
- CU-TEP (Internet Based) score of 75 or equivalent.
- TU-GET (Paper Based) score of 550 or equivalent.
- TU-GET (Computer Based) score of 80 or equivalent.
Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and implementing instructional programs to guide and encourage student development and academic potential. The teacher will be responsible for teaching Thai Social Studies and Thai Language and Culture, preparing class reports for quality assurance visits, and collaborating with colleagues. Additional duties include homeroom responsibilities, lunch supervision, and developing lesson plans and instructional materials.
The candidate must be adept at using diverse teaching strategies to address various learning styles, evaluating student progress, managing student behavior, and maintaining accurate records. Participation in extracurricular activities, meetings, and professional development is also required.
