The Newton Sixth Form
The Newton Sixth Form, established in 2019 in central Bangkok near Siam BTS, caters to students in grades 2-7 in the primary section and grades 8-13 in the senior section, offering IGCSE, A-Level, and BTEC programs by Pearson. The teaching team consists of a blend of international and Thai educators proficient in English.
Details of the position:
Position: Secondary English teacher.
Requirements: Experience in delivering IELTS test prep classes and/or the IGCSE ESL and English A curriculum is preferred. The ideal start date is late December or early January. There may be opportunities to teach humanities subjects based on school needs and candidate suitability.
The school also welcomes applications for positions in Mathematics, Business, and Science subjects as part of its departmental expansion.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant field, along with a teaching qualification like TEFL, CELTA, or similar.
- At least one year of experience teaching the specific subject to the relevant age group.
- Familiarity with the Pearson IGCSE and IAL programs is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Only applicants residing in Thailand will be considered.
Benefits:
- Working hours: 09.00-18:00 Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays for events.
