▪ Ensure the effective teaching and management of IEYC class, group and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenges are maintained and the best use is made of teaching time;

▪ Have an excellent knowledge and understanding of what constitutes quality IEYC provision and strategy for raising young pupils’ achievement;

▪ Using teaching methods which will inspire and engage students and challenge their intellectual curiosity including the use of effective and purposeful questioning;
