Udon Thani International School is seeking a qualified Upper Primary Teacher to join our team in Udon Thani. Our school offers a co-educational, day school environment for both expatriate and Thai students, delivering a curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. We are looking for candidates who possess home country educational and teaching qualifications, have experience teaching upper primary students, and hold a Bachelor’s degree. Ideal candidates will be adaptable, flexible, community-minded, and student-centered.
Preferred qualifications include experience with the International Baccalaureate, proficiency in ICT applications for student learning, knowledge of project-based and inquiry learning methodologies, and experience in international school settings. First aid qualifications are also beneficial.
We value teachers who can inspire a love for learning in their students and appreciate diversity in the student body. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and serve as ambassadors for our school. We offer a supportive and professional working environment with a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 10-15,000 baht per month accommodation allowance, professional development opportunities, health insurance, visas, work permits, and placement for accompanying children. A two-year contract and one return ticket to the home country per contract are also provided.

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
