Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher
International Kindergarten – Shanghai, Xuhui District
Start Date: March 20th, 2025

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Homeroom Teacher to join our international kindergarten in Xuhui District, Shanghai. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who has a genuine love for working with young children. As a homeroom teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing and guiding a class of 12 students aged 5-6, alongside a Chinese co-teacher and a life teacher.

🕒 Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM
Occasional extra meetings or additional arrangements may be required.

📚 Responsibilities:
Manage a class of 12 students (ages 5-6) with the support of a Chinese co-teacher and a life teacher.
Teach phonics, thematic lessons, physical activities, science, and more.
Prepare students for primary school through engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Create lesson plans based on the children’s age group and needs, with or without provided school materials.
Establish and maintain close communication with parents to support student development.
Participate actively in school events, training, and meetings.

🎯 Requirements:
Currently located in China.
Native English speaker (only).
Bachelor’s degree or higher, along with an ESL/TESOL certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a homeroom teacher, ideally with a focus on kindergarten or Grade 1 in an international school.
Previous experience working with a Chinese co-teacher is preferred.
A joyful, dynamic, responsible, and creative personality with a passion for teaching young children.
Additional skills such as singing, music, crafts, or sports are a plus.
Available to start from March 20th.

💼 Salary Benefits:
Competitive salary of 28-30,000 RMB per month, based on profile and experience, including a rental allowance to support your accommodation.
