Job Description:

Beyond Code Academy is seeking a VEX IQ Robotics After-School Teacher to conduct engaging STEM-based robotics classes at a prominent international school in Bangkok. This part-time role is perfect for enthusiastic educators who are eager to inspire children through technology, engineering, and hands-on learning.

The teaching position is located at an international school on Phutthamonthon Sai 1. Classes are scheduled after school on Mondays, lasting approximately one to two hours, with a commitment to one academic term, which includes 12 to 13 sessions.

The teacher will instruct students aged 10 to 12 in VEX IQ robotics, covering topics such as robot construction, basic programming concepts, and practical engineering skills through interactive projects and activities.

Lessons are designed to foster creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving within a supportive international school environment. Teachers are responsible for maintaining a safe and engaging classroom atmosphere while helping students build confidence as they tackle robotics challenges.

Applicants should possess prior experience in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or working with children. Essential qualities include strong classroom management skills, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to keep young learners motivated and focused throughout each session.

Although prior experience with robotics or the VEX IQ platform is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Comprehensive training will be provided to help candidates develop the necessary knowledge and confidence to teach the program effectively. A competitive salary is offered.

Interested individuals should send their resume along with a brief personal introduction to NATTHAPHON@BEYONDCODEACADEMY.COM. Those passionate about STEM education and inspiring the next generation of innovators are encouraged to apply.

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
