2026-2027 English Teacher Position in Seoul

Job Description:

Are you an experienced English teacher residing in Seoul, South Korea? Uchon Elementary School in Seongbuk-Gu, Seoul, close to metro Line 4, Hansung University Station and Sungshin Women’s University Station, is seeking qualified teachers.

Position: Classroom English Teacher

Location: Seongbuk-gu, Seoul

Term of Employment: March 2026~ February 28th, 2027

Salary: 2.4 million KRW per month + 700,000 housing allowance

Work Hours: 8:20-4:20 (M-F)

Teaching Hours: 24 periods, 40 minutes each

Class Size: Approximately 28 students

Holidays: 7-8 weeks paid vacation yearly

Benefits: Medical Insurance, Pension, Sick days, Certification Bonus

Requirements:

- Currently in Korea

- 3+ years teaching experience in Korea (elementary school preferred)

- BS/BA degree (Education, English, or Linguistics preferred)

- 120-hour TEFL/TESOL or U.S./Canadian domestic teacher’s certification

- Ready-to-submit paperwork

- Willing to teach a demo class on site

- TBPE & TB Health Check Results
