Job Description:

Omega Prep, located in Bangkok, is seeking highly capable and intellectually curious individuals for the role of Academic Tutors & Test Prep Specialists. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of at least ฿900 and involves working with some of Thailand’s brightest students as they prepare for undergraduate and master's programs abroad, particularly in the USA.

As a tutor at Omega Prep, you will provide private tutoring and conduct dynamic small group lessons in our central Bangkok office, just minutes from BTS Ari. We are looking for expert instructors in priority subjects such as Physics, Statistics, World History, SAT English, SAT Math, and Economics. Additionally, there are opportunities to teach IGCSE and AP courses, including AP Environmental Science, AP Psychology, and GMAT preparation.

You will work with motivated students and families committed to academic excellence and admission to top-tier universities. Your role will involve demystifying complex concepts across STEM, humanities, and standardized test curricula, becoming an essential mentor to students during their formative years.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging private tutoring and small group lessons, maintaining a positive and dynamic session atmosphere, and providing expert instruction in your chosen subject areas. The ideal candidate will have a distinguished academic background, proven teaching experience or exceptional test scores in the relevant subjects, and excellent English communication skills. Candidates must be based in Bangkok, Thailand, and native English speakers are preferred.

To apply, send your CV, a list of qualified subjects, proof of teaching experience or test scores, current location, and availability to advancedlearningbkk@gmail.com.

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
