Working Conditions

Full-Time Positions: Homeroom Teacher for Elementary School Graders 1st and 2nd graders.

Student Levels:  Advanced/Gifted students - 2 grade levels beyond their current school grade ages.

Start Date: March 4th 2025 first day of prep with full pay.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday must arrive by 8:00 am-4:30 pm working hours (Teachers leave at 4:30 pm)

Teaching load: Less than 19 actual teaching hours per week (21 classes per week at 50 min per class)

Non-teaching related work:can be carried out throughout the week per the non-teaching time table schedule

Salary for Homeroom Teacher Positions:  3.20 million won with provided housing by employer or employee can choose the non-housing stipend option and receive 800,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above (Total- 4 million won per month)

Special Subject Positions: 3.10 million won with housing or choose the non-housing stipend option and receive. 800,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above (Total-3.90 million won per month)

Location: Gangnam Seoul - 32, Saimdang-ro 23-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Benefits

Within 12 months of employment 5-weeks of vacation plus all Korean National Holiday’s Off                             (No salary deduction)

There will be 4 session breaks throughout the year per our scheduled vacation dates.

May 1st off until May 6th 2025 off

July 19th off until August 10th 2025 off

Oct 3rd off until Oct 12th 2025 off

Dec 21st off until Jan 4th 2026 off

Complies with Korean pension/insurance regulations.

Severance upon completion of a one-year contract and contract extension with mutual agreement.

Role and Responsibilities

ㆍHomeroom teachers will be assigned  just one classroom.

ㆍManage classrooms, prepare & deliver lessons that meet the needs and abilities of our students.

ㆍCollaborate & cooperate with co-workers/staff/management ensuring a cohesive learning environment.

Candidate Qualifications

ㆍ High Preference  to Certified, Education, English, TESOL, TEFL. STEM, related - Bachelor/Master’s degree.

ㆍ Multiple years of full-time teaching experience to children in Korea at a competitive academic school.

ㆍ  Special subject positions:  majors aligned to the specific subject such as PE (Physical Education major).

ㆍE2/D10/F-series status in Korea - Citizenship from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & SA.
