Elementary ESL Teacher - Busan Haeundae

Twinkle English Academy in Busan, South Korea, is seeking a passionate and creative Elementary ESL Teacher for our Haeundae campus. This full-time position is ideal for educators who love literature and wish to inspire young learners to become confident readers and writers.

Location:
Haeundae is a vibrant coastal district in Busan, known for its beautiful beach, cafes, restaurants, and lively expat community. It offers a balanced lifestyle with easy access to public transport, mountains, and the ocean. Busan, South Korea's second-largest city, provides all the conveniences of a big city with a more relaxed pace than Seoul.

Position Overview:
As an Elementary ESL Teacher, you will teach students in Grades 1–6 using Twinkle's literature-based curriculum. The role involves planning engaging lessons focused on reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. Teachers are encouraged to bring stories to life and guide students in creative and analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ESL classes to elementary students (Grades 1–6) using the academy's curriculum.
- Plan lessons that integrate reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.
- Use novels and stories to engage students in literature.
- Provide constructive feedback on student writing.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Communicate with colleagues and management.
- Complete administrative tasks such as grading and writing student progress reports.

Teaching Schedule:
- Elementary Schedule: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Visa & Work Permit:
Candidates typically require an E-2 visa, which includes:
- Citizenship from the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- A clean national criminal background check with apostille or notarization.
- A health check in Korea after arrival.
