Requirements for applicants include residing in South Korea, holding a TESOL/TEFL certificate or qualified teacher status, and having experience with elementary children. Candidates must be native English speakers from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland, or the UK, and eligible for an E2, F2-6 visa. Being able to interview via Zoom and possessing all necessary visa documentation are also mandatory.
The position involves sharing a homeroom with a Korean teacher, teaching 20-22 classes (40 minutes each) per week, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The contract term is from March 2026 to March 2027. The starting salary is 2.7 million KRW per month, with a housing allowance of 400,000 KRW and 5 million KRW key money provided. Benefits include standard insurance, pension, health care, 40 days of annual leave, and 9 additional paid leave days, which cover sick days and school discretionary holidays. There may be mandatory training workshops and/or English camps scheduled in advance.
