Hello! I am looking for my replacement at my current school. You will teach from a pre-planned syllabus, so there is no lesson planning. I sometimes grade book reports or homework that I assign but that’s it. The classes are easy to teach and the foreign and native teachers are amazing. Housing is also really good and not far from school. It is very close to Gurae area which is very popular. You must also have a minimum of a bachelors degree from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. Pay is between 2,500,000-2,700,000 plus housing.
At this time the school only wants US or Canadian candidates.
Working hours : Monday through Friday 9am-5:55pm
Vacation: 1st year/ 11 days. 2nd year/ 15 days. All red days and national holidays off. You will not have to make them up either.
Insurance, pension is split 50/50 between you and the school
Housing provided or stipend if you have your own housing. Housing that is provided is very nice and modern with nice size closet and bathroom is not a wet room.
Seoul is about an hour away or more depending on what part of Seoul you’re going to.
Koreans teachers and other foreign teachers are really nice and we all get along well. The director is also really nice and approachable. I have never been paid late nor have I ever had to deal with not being paid at all. There is a dentist in the woke building that takes our insurance and doctors near the housing area for gynecology, allergy, etc. housing is close to emart, Daiso, many restaurants and more.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.
Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
