Little Tree Huggers Montessori School in Nong Khai, Northeast Thailand, near the Laos border, is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our team. We offer teaching positions for both Casa Class (ages 3–6) and Toddler Class (ages 2–3). We are looking for a teacher who is mindful, dependable, and professional, with a true passion for working with young children.
Established as a home school, our institution provides an authentic Montessori classroom environment while maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere among the school, neighbors, and parents. We currently have around 80 wonderful children, and our teachers and staff collaborate like family and friends to create a supportive and happy environment for our students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work as an English teacher alongside two co-teachers, with a maximum of 32 students.
- Prepare and maintain the Montessori classroom environment.
- Create and prepare classroom materials.
- Observe students and prepare individualized lesson plans.
- Write student progress reports twice a year (once per semester).
- Support maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom and school environment.
- Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional work on Saturdays (approximately once per month) for school activities or meetings.
- Commit to a minimum two-year contract.
