Job Description:

A Language School in Bangkok is Hiring a Full-Time Native English Teacher
Modulo Language School, Bangkok

A rapidly expanding language school in Bangkok is currently hiring a full-time native English-speaking teacher to join their team at the Icon Siam branch. This opportunity is ideal for educators who are comfortable working evenings and weekends and want to be part of a growing and dynamic educational environment.

The school is looking for a friendly, experienced, and dedicated teacher who can effectively support learners of all ages and levels. The majority of students are adults, although some classes involve children and teenagers. The right candidate should not only be passionate about teaching but also open to continual professional development.

Teachers at this school deliver a diverse selection of courses. These range from general English and business English to preparation for exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC. In addition, there are classes in phonics and other specialized areas. Most sessions are one-on-one, but small group lessons with up to eight students are also common, and some corporate sessions may include more participants.

One of the most appealing aspects of working here is the competitive compensation. Private lessons from Monday to Friday are paid at 410 baht per 50-minute session, with higher rates on weekends. Group lessons pay even more. First-year full-time instructors can expect to earn over 45,000 baht per month, and those who continue into a second year receive a higher rate.

The school also supports work-life balance by offering limited paid time off and up to 34 days of unpaid leave, allowing teachers the flexibility to travel or relax. Teachers can take advantage of this to explore Thailand and other parts of Asia during breaks.

To ensure high-quality teaching, the school provides extensive training and coaching, all of which are fully paid. Teachers are supported in their professional growth through regular feedback and development sessions. This is part of the school’s broader commitment to maintaining high educational standards.

There are four school locations in Bangkok, all easily accessible via the city’s BTS and MRT transport lines. These are situated at Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam, making commuting convenient for teachers working across multiple campuses.

New hires will have all visa and work permit processes handled by the school. This includes covering the cost of the work permit, making the transition to full-time teaching in Thailand as smooth as possible. Teachers are also offered benefits such as health insurance, annual raises, internal promotions, and discounts on courses.

The school offers flexible contract options, allowing teachers to choose between five or six working days per week depending on their preference and lifestyle. Team-building events are organized quarterly, with activities like charity work, river cruises, and meals at high-end venues to encourage camaraderie among staff.

Salary: 45,000 baht per month

Applicants must meet specific qualifications, including holding a bachelor’s degree and an English teaching certificate such as CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL. They must be native English speakers from countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, or Australia, and be available on evenings and weekends. If you meet these criteria and are open to a one-year commitment, the school encourages you to apply through their online form: [Online Application Form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeFtys5dFRgM_i88Agcgi5_QP5Wmi5h1cieE3-NViVN9miooA/viewform)

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
