KKEV Cambodia, an international non-profit organization established in Phnom Penh in 2006, is seeking a full-time English Teacher to work at the Children’s Village in Phnom Penh. This position is open to Cambodian nationals only.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and control the classroom effectively
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons to various age groups
- Prepare tests, exams, and exercises
- Report teaching plans and test results to the Education Manager
- Correct homework and provide feedback to students
- Strengthen the children's communication skills in English
- Advise children to study diligently both in and out of class
- Ensure the children are protected from any form of abuse
- Follow all duties required by the management team
- Respect the rights and privacy of the children at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or English Education
- Knowledge of teaching methodology and child development
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Patience and honesty with children
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred
