Welcome to Hsinchu and Zhubei!
We are looking for passionate educators to join our dynamic ESL teaching teams in Hsinchu and Zhubei cities in Taiwan.
Taiwan is a welcoming country that prides itself on being progressive, open, and safe. Hsinchu and Zhubei are located in northwestern Taiwan and have an abundance of magnificent and important cultural and heritage sites, including the famous Hsinchu City God Temple. Both cities border the Taiwan Strait, providing breathtaking vistas along the many walking, cycling, and hiking trails in the area. These cities offer a more laidback lifestyle than bigger cities, but are just a 30-minute high-speed train ride away from Taipei! Hsinchu and Zhubei are great places to start your journey in Taiwan!
Our schools are staffed with experienced, passionate teachers who offer support to newcomers both in and outside of the classroom. We have a diverse team of foreign teachers from the Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. We provide immigration assistance, comprehensive training and teaching materials, so when you first step foot in the classroom, you will not only feel ready to be there, but ready to excel and grow with the support available to you.
Starting Dates:
Actively accepting applications for November 2024 and February 2025.
Great Pay Package, Annual Bonuses, and Comprehensive Training:
Starting pay rate from $680-730 NTD per teaching hour, based on experience and qualifications (about $70,000-$80,000 NTD per month at 25 teaching hours per week)
Minimum of 20 teaching hours per week guaranteed
$3,000 NTD monthly administrative work stipend
$10,000 NTD First-year Contract Completion Bonus
Annual raises
Flexible vacation days throughout the year
Initial Training Program, Follow Up Trainings and TEFL Certification
In-house curriculum including comprehensive Teacher's Guides, teaching materials, and interactive media
Paid accommodation throughout initial training, assistance in finding a suitable residence, full on-boarding, documentation, start-up loan, and arrival support
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or an associate’s degree with a TEFL certificate)
Passport from a country where English is an official language
Commit to at least one year of full-time work
Must be able to pass a national-level criminal background check
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and professional approach to the job
