Job Description:

E2 English Institute in Samcheok, Gangwondo, South Korea is seeking an enthusiastic and organized English second language teacher to join their team. The small coastal city of Samcheok is a charming location with a population of approximately 70,000 people, nestled in a valley of the Gangwon-do mountains.

The position requires teaching hours from 3pm to 8:50pm with 90 minutes of preparation time before classes start. Classes have a maximum of five students aged 8-16 to ensure personalized instruction. The institute offers 10 days of vacation in addition to Korean national holidays and provides medical insurance, national pension benefits, and contract bonuses.

The successful candidate will be provided with a fully furnished private studio or a two-bedroom apartment within walking distance of the school. Previous teachers have enjoyed long tenures at the institute, with some staying for 7-8 years.

Applicants should be English native speakers with a Bachelor's degree and teaching experience. Preferred candidates are those already living in Korea with completed E2 Visa paperwork. The institute provides a competitive salary starting from 2.5 million Won, with opportunities for increases based on education and experience.
