Cheongju University is searching for native English-speaking non-tenured professors residing in Korea. The professors will teach credit conversation classes at the university starting on September 1, 2026.
1. Position Details:
The position requires teaching 12 credit classes (4 working days per week) and holding 2 office hours weekly. There is an option to teach overtime credits and non-credit classes. The contract lasts for two years and is renewable.
2. Qualifications:
- Must be a native English speaker
- E-1/E-2 or F-visa holders in Korea are preferred
- Minimum Requirement: Master’s degree or higher with at least two years of university/college teaching experience post-Master’s degree completion
- Preferred Qualifications: English Language Teaching Certificate
3. Salary:
The annual base salary for 2026 is W36,905,830 before Korean tax (W3,075,480 per month).
