Job Description:
A prestigious private school in Taoyuan, Yoder Bilingual Academy, is seeking native English teachers to join their team. Established in 2010, this rapidly expanding school, located in Zhongli District, is highly regarded in the region.
Yoder International Academy (YIA), its affiliate, is the sole American-accredited institution in Taoyuan City. Notably, YIA provides College Board products like PSAT and AP exams, distinguishing it in the city.
YBA's International Department boasts nearly 30 diverse faculty members from various countries including Canada, the USA, and the UK. For the upcoming academic year, the school is offering positions in High School Math, Middle & High School Science, Middle & High School English & Social Studies, and Elementary Teachers.
Job scopes for the available positions include teaching subjects like language arts, math, and science, collaborating with experienced educators to develop the curriculum, and organizing school events such as Halloween Festival and International Day.
Ideal candidates should have a teaching credential/license and at least three years of related teaching experience. While not mandatory, candidates with a state-issued teaching credential/license or advanced degrees are preferred. Applicants must hold a passport from an English-speaking country.
This full-time position offers work hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with the option for additional pay by teaching after-school classes from 5 pm to 6 pm. Contracts are for one year with the possibility of renewal.
