Top private school in Taoyuan, Yoder Bilingual Academy, is searching for native English teachers to join their team.
Established in 2010, Yoder Bilingual Academy (YBA) is a rapidly growing private elementary and middle school situated in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City. Its affiliate, Yoder International Academy (YIA), is the sole American-accredited (Cognia) institution in Taoyuan City, providing College Board products like PSAT and AP exams.
As a distinguished educational institution in the area, our International Department comprises nearly 30 qualified faculty members from various countries including Canada, the Philippines, New Zealand, Spain, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
We are currently seeking qualified teachers to fill various positions for the upcoming school year:
- HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHERS: Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus
- MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHERS: Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science
- MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH & SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS: English Language Arts, World History, Geography, and US History/Government
- ELEMENTARY TEACHERS: K-6 Multiple Subjects
We are looking for BILINGUAL PROGRAM TEACHERS to teach subjects such as Language Arts, Math, and Science classes. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to develop, teach, and enhance our curriculum. Additionally, you will assist in organizing events like the Halloween Festival, the Christmas Show, International Day, Earth Month, and more.
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS should have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject(s). Candidates with a state-issued teaching credential/license or advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) are preferred but not required.
Applicants with a certified teaching credential/license or APRC/Marriage ARC and experience teaching are encouraged to submit their CVs and resumes. Individuals must hold a passport from an English-speaking country.
This full-time position entails working from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. There are opportunities for additional pay by teaching after-school classes from 5 pm to 6 pm.
The contract duration is 1 year with the option for renewal. Benefits include a monthly salary, medical insurance, an end-of-contract bonus, compensated summer and winter vacations, personal leave, the freedom to design club and elective classes, and more.
