Top private school in Taoyuan seeks native English teachers for Yoder Bilingual Academy.
Join a dynamic team at Yoder Bilingual Academy (YBA), a prestigious private elementary and middle school in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, established in 2010. YBA is affiliated with Yoder International Academy (YIA), the only American-accredited institution in Taoyuan City, offering College Board products like PSAT and AP exams.
Our International Department boasts nearly 30 faculty members from various countries, such as Canada, the Philippines, New Zealand, Spain, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the USA. We are now hiring qualified teachers for the upcoming school year.
Available positions include:
- HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHERS: Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, AP Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus
- MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHERS: Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science
- MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH & SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHERS: English Language Arts, World History, Geography, US History/Government
- ELEMENTARY TEACHERS: K-6 Multiple Subjects
Job Scopes:
Bilingual Program Teachers:
- Teach language arts, math, and science
- Collaborate with experienced professionals on curriculum design and events coordination
International Program Middle & High School Teachers:
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience
- State-issued teaching credential or advanced degree preferred
Applicants with a teaching credential/license, APRC, or Marriage ARC are encouraged to apply. Teaching experience is required, and candidates must have a passport from an English-speaking country.
This full-time position offers work from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for additional pay teaching after-school classes from 5pm to 6pm.
