- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college/university
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Understanding of Christian education with a Biblical Worldview
- Active personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- People skills and a teachable spirit
- Bilingual preferred
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an RA at Valor International Scholars, you will be responsible for creating a Kingdom-minded atmosphere in the dormitory program. Your role is essential in nurturing students' growth and learning abilities in a Christ-centered environment. You will be a mentor, leader, and minister, fostering a culture of safety, respect, and care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual and relational care to students
- Build intentional relationships through presence and encouragement
- Organize and participate in dorm activities and traditions
- Enforce dormitory rules with grace and consistency
- Address crisis situations promptly and appropriately
- Collaborate with the RA team and attend meetings/training sessions
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical communication in all interactions
- Fulfill all contractual obligations and contribute to the school's mission
