Location: New Taipei City (near Jiangzicui Station)
Working time: Monday to Friday, time is varied by class (18-22 hours per week)
Hour pay: $800 up (could be higher with experienced teacher)
Teachers are encouraged to create a student-centered and activity- based learning environment. A set curriculum and syllabus will be provided. A face-to-face interview and demo are a must for the position. A one-year contract is required.
***Requirements***
1. Experienced in teaching young kids is a plus (3-6 years old)
2. Holding a passport from a native English-speaking country.
3. Having a TEFL or TESOL certificate is a plus.
***About Our School***
Alphaville is a long-lasting school around Banqiao area for over 20 years. With our unique teaching model, we become most parents’ first choice merely depends on word of mouth. Currently there are over 20 foreign teachers and around 400 students aged from 2 to 12. It only takes five-minute walk from the MRT station to our school.
To ensure kids’ safety, there are cameras around the school that parents can check at any time with their cell phone. Please be aware that kids’ safety is always our top priority. We do not encourage punishment. The only method for punishing is to ask the kid to face the wall for no more than 1 minute.
The working day is from Monday to Friday, two shifts a day. The morning shift starts from 9:30 to 12:00. And the afternoon shift starts from 2:30 to 4 pm. During the break time, we provide lunch and you are free to rest or grab a coffee nearby. We also have night shift for cram school, if you are doing well and there is a vacancy, it is possible that you can take more hours.
