SBS, a member of the Arthit Ourairat Institute, operates campuses in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and the British International School of Phuket. As an IB World School for Kindergarten and Primary, and a Cambridge International School for Secondary, we are expanding our international team. 1. Lower Secondary English & Music Teacher
2. Secondary Science Teacher (Biology) — with the opportunity to become Head of the Science Department
3. Secondary Mathematics Teacher (IGCSE, AS & A Level)
4. Head of PE and Sports Department

Key Responsibilities (varies by role):
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with Cambridge International and IB frameworks
- Plan schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and maintain academic records
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including EAL students
- Support student academic, social, and personal development
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Contribute to extracurricular activities (music, science clubs, maths competitions, sports teams, etc.)
- Attend meetings, professional development sessions, and school events
- For leadership roles: oversee curriculum, departmental planning, and staff support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, English, Music, Science, Biology, Mathematics, Sport Science, or related)
- Recognized professional teaching qualification/license/certification
- Master’s degree is an advantage
- Music background is desirable for the English & Music role
- Leadership experience is required for Head of Department roles
Experience Required:
- 2–3+ years of post-qualification teaching experience in a structured school
- Experience with the Cambridge International curriculum is highly desirable
- Experience with EAL learners in international settings
- Practical lab experience (Science), performance-based teaching (Music), exam preparation (Maths), or multi-sport coaching (PE) depending on the role
Skills & Attributes:
- Native/fluent English speaker (minimum C1 level)
- Strong classroom presence and communication skills
- Organized, adaptable, collaborative, and student-centered
- Effective classroom and time management
- Commitment to continuous professional development
