Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 07:40–16:40
- Location: Dongtan (Hwaseong)
- Start Date: August 2026
- Teaching Hours: Maximum of 26 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits:
- Elementary Salary: 3.0 KRW and up (negotiable based on education and experience)
- Vacation: 6 weeks (1 spring | 3 summer | 2 winter) + 2 paid sick days
- Housing: housing provided or housing allowance of 500,000 KRW
Qualifications & Requirements:
- E-2 or F-series visa holder (E-2 visa sponsorship available)
- Teacher license required
- Bachelor’s degree (min. 3–4 years)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop syllabus, plans, and assessments aligned with GCIS standards
- Provide feedback and support student growth
- Foster critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and academic progress
- Communicate with parents professionally
- Prepare progress reports and attend meetings
- Create a positive classroom environment and differentiate instruction
- Utilize technology and hands-on learning experiences
- Teach elementary science concepts and promote scientific thinking
- Ensure safe use of materials and analyze student data
- Encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific discovery
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success
