Young Hoon Elementary School, established in 1965, is a renowned private Christian institution in Korea. The school serves around 670 students from grades 1 to 6.
We are currently looking to fill a Grade 5 Elementary Homeroom Teacher position. Candidates must have upper elementary homeroom experience. The successful applicant will join a team of 24 certified teachers from the USA, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Applicants must already be residing in Korea with a current E2/F2/F6 visa. Please note that we do not accept applications from overseas candidates. The ideal start date is March 1st, 2026.
Qualifications required include being a licensed/certified teacher from the US, Canada, NZ, Australia, South Africa, or the United Kingdom. A Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma of Education, or Masters of Education is preferred. Candidates in the process of obtaining their teaching certification may also be considered.
Candidates with private school experience in South Korea or those attending church regularly are preferred. However, church attendance is not mandatory.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.
