Mataneedol International School in Khon Kaen is seeking an enthusiastic Native English-speaking High School Chemistry and Biology Teacher to join our team immediately. We are a professional, well-equipped private school offering a full-time position with approximately 18 lessons per week. You will work alongside a dedicated team of foreign and Thai teachers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach IGCSE-level Biology and Chemistry, covering topics such as cell structure, photosynthesis, ecology, inheritance, atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry.
- Attend school assemblies and special ceremonies.
- Prepare tests twice a year and an annual science project.
- Maintain display boards with student projects.
- Occasionally cover other classes and prepare short performances.
- Create weekly lesson plans and summaries.
- Work Monday to Friday, from 07:45 to 16:00.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker (from U.K., U.S., Canada, New Zealand, or Australia).
- Minimum of a 4-year university degree in a related science field (BA/BSc or higher) and a TEFL certificate.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Enthusiastic, positive-thinking, hard-working, and patient, with excellent soft skills.
- Interest in personal development and success within a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural educational setting.
