Job Description:
Are you a qualified English teacher looking for a new opportunity? Taipei Wego Private Senior High School in Taiwan is seeking full-time English teachers to join their prestigious institution. The position will commence in late July 2026.
We are looking for teachers to instruct students in grades 7-12, covering English courses in the international program and ESL conversation classes in the local program. Additionally, there are openings for Science and Mathematics teachers for the fall semester in 2027.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a western university, possess teaching experience in Taiwan, and have state teaching certification. Candidates with TESOL certification (minimum 100 hours) will be considered if they already hold an Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC).
If you meet the requirements, you must be available for an on-campus interview and teaching demonstration at our location on no.50, Chu-Hai Rd., Beitou, Taipei. We are conveniently located near the Xin-Beitou MRT station.
We offer a competitive package that includes a work permit, resident visa, health/labor insurance, and a monthly payment starting from NT$81,000, which covers the base salary, living stipend, and certification bonus. Perfect attendance is rewarded with a monthly bonus of NT$3,000, along with a Chinese New Year’s bonus.
Teachers work Monday to Friday with an additional half day of paid leave per week, resulting in a four-and-a-half-day work week. Those with a master’s degree receive a monthly bonus of NT$3,000, while doctoral degree holders receive NT$6,000 monthly.
