For the Research and Development (R&D) position at SPARK Education, we are looking for a versatile individual who can also work as a substitute teacher. As an R&D member, you will be responsible for creating and editing education materials suitable for elementary and middle school students. The ideal candidate should possess substantial teaching experience, understanding the educational needs of English language learners in South Korea. The role of a substitute teacher requires executing detailed lesson plans while covering for teachers on leave, demanding flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility.
To qualify for the R&D position, you must be a native English speaker residing in Seoul, experienced in workbook and worksheet design, content editing, and have above-average reading, writing, and editing skills. The working hours are from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a starting monthly salary of 3 million KRW without housing, negotiable pending interview. Benefits include all national holidays off, flexible paid time off, severance pay, pension, and national health insurance.
