Job Description:
British Council Thailand is recruiting an Hourly Paid Instructor of English to join our Chiang Mai team.
Main duties are;
- Teaching YLs and adults
- Monitoring and supporting learners’ progress and performance
- Contributing to the monitoring, evaluation, and development of courses and services
- Engaging in professional development and performance management
- Supporting the wider aims of the British Council
This is an hourly paid position that may require working Saturday and Sundays from 8:00am.
Applicants must hold a first degree and CELTA or equivalent, as well as some YL teaching experience.
Experience of working with Thai learners and / or EYs is desirable.
This position will require teaching early years and lower primary aged students in teaching centre and partner school contexts.
Pay starts from 633 THB per taught hour, increasing depending on qualifications. Other benefits include health insurance, visa and work permit, and access to formal and informal training and development.
