Anticipated Teaching Positions for the 2025-2026 School Year:
・Full-Time MS/HS Social Studies (Geography, Modern World History)
・Full-Time MS/HS Math & Digital Literacy (Common Core - G8 Algebra 1, Dig.
Lit 7 & 8, MS and/or HS Elec.)
・Full-Time MS/HS English Language Arts (Common Core)
・Full-Time MS/HS English as Another Language (Screening/Pull-out & Push-in Support)
Successful teacher candidates will have a teaching degree, relevant subject area knowledge, teaching certification, and experience working with English as an Additional Language (EAL) students.
Qualifications:
・Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field
・Certification/licensure/QTS in the subject and grade level taught
・Experience in teaching preferred
・International teaching experience beneficial
Teachers at HIA are expected to collaborate with colleagues, participate in faculty meetings, lead advisory programs, and sponsor co-curricular activities or sports.
Position Details:
After one year, part-time teachers may have opportunities to transition to full-time roles, making it an excellent chance for those interested in a long-term career in education.
