Mataneedol International School in Khon Kaen is seeking enthusiastic Native English-speaking teachers for the position of IGCSE Chemistry/Biology Teacher. This full-time role will commence in October 2026. As a teacher, you will be part of a supportive, multicultural team comprised of both foreign and Thai educators. The teaching load consists of approximately 18 lessons per week, with the curriculum based on Oxford IGCSE standards.
Biology topics include cell structure, photosynthesis, ecology, inheritance, and homeostasis. Chemistry topics cover atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, quantitative analysis, and organic chemistry.
Requirements for this position include being a native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, holding a minimum 4-year university degree in a relevant subject, having a TEFL certificate, and possessing at least one year of teaching experience. Candidates should be enthusiastic, patient, professional, and strong in communication and teamwork, with a willingness to grow professionally.
Responsibilities include attending morning assemblies, participating in school events, preparing assessments, organizing an annual science project, maintaining classroom displays, providing class cover when needed, and preparing weekly lesson plans. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 16:00.
Benefits include a starting salary of at least 35,000 THB per month, with an annual salary increase of up to 5%.
