International Kindergarten - Shanghai

Homeroom Teacher

We are looking for dedicated and passionate kindergarten teachers for our IB kindergartens in Shanghai – there is more than one campus and we need more than one teacher. The successful candidate will experience working with young children and have an excitement in seeing youngsters learn in a fun and friendly environment.

Compensation & Benefits Package
Salary: 24,000 RMB- 32,000 RMB/month after tax (including housing allowance)

School Summary

Founded in Hong Kong in the 1960’s and opened our first kindergarten in China since 1998, we looking for teachers to join our team in Shanghai. All teachers will work alongside a local native teacher in the classroom to create an inquiry-based learning approach and bilingual learning environment. All campuses are accredited or candidate International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Our curriculum is developed based on the IB’s scope and sequence while emphasizing the local culture and the needs of local children. This is a role which requires professional teachers who have patience, understanding and an intrinsic love of working with children. Our ongoing support through training will allow you to develop as a teacher within a professional environment.

Requirements
Native English speaker from UK, USA, Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand or Ireland
Teaching experience or relative working experienced
BA degree with TEFL Certification or Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Energetic, enthusiastic and excited to play with and educate young children.
