Job Description:

SANGMYEONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is a distinguished private school in Nowon-gu, located in northeastern Seoul. We are looking for a passionate teacher to join our vibrant school community starting on August 21st. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners through creative and engaging lesson plans, fostering a love for learning English. A commitment to nurturing student growth and collaboration with our faculty is essential.

The open position is 6th grade Reading with approximately 15 students. Our well-equipped English classrooms feature a computer, printer, projector, and essential school supplies to support engaging learning experiences.

Details:

- Location: 541 Deokneung-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul (10-min walk from Junggye Station)

- Start Date: August 21st, 2025

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

- Contract Period: August 21st, 2025 - February 28th, 2026

- Salary Range: 2.5-2.8 million KRW before tax (varies based on teaching experience and qualification)

Benefits include a monthly housing allowance, severance pay, health insurance, pension, and up to 4 weeks of paid vacation from August to February.

Requirements:

- Native English Speakers (E-2 or F series visa holder)

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
