UCA Academy is currently seeking Native English Teachers & Bilingual Gyopo Teachers to join our team in Donam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. We are an English immersion academy established as a branch of Uchon Elementary School, one of Korea’s most prestigious private elementary schools. Available Positions: - Full-time Instructor: - Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (1-hour break included), Monday–Friday - Subjects: Phonics, Reading, Speaking, Writing, Debate - Salary: 2.8–3.3 million KRW (based on experience & qualifications) - Contract: 1-year - Benefits: National Medical Insurance, Severance Pay - Vacation: 10 days + all Korean national holidays - Curriculum & textbooks provided - Part-time Instructor (Afternoon): - Hours: 3:00–7:00 PM (flexible), 2–4 days/week - Subjects: Phonics, Reading, Speaking - Salary: 25,000–35,000 KRW per hour Job Responsibilities: - Teach elementary students (Gr. 1–6) in your assigned classroom - Follow UCA’s curriculum to conduct classes - Grade and give feedback on student work - Maintain clear communication and strong classroom management Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree (4-year) — Apostilled (for visa holders) - Native & Gyopo (bilingual speaker) teachers - Minimum 1-year teaching experience in Korea (preferred) - Experience teaching Debate and Novel Study classes - Experience using Canva to create teaching materials - Experience developing or adapting educational resources Start Date: August 2026 Location: Donam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Line 4 – Hansung Univ. / Sungshin Women’s Univ.)
