Kindergarten Teacher Position - Suji or Dongtan
J Lee Preparatory is seeking enthusiastic and experienced full-time kindergarten teachers for our Suji and Dongtan campuses in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, starting in March 2026. The role involves teaching small groups of 5–7-year-old students using a provided curriculum. Teachers will benefit from a supportive professional environment with structured materials and ongoing training. Both Suji and Dongtan are well-connected suburbs of Seoul, offering modern amenities and a vibrant community of English teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach one kindergarten class with 10–12 students, focusing on speaking, writing, reading, grammar, and book discussions.
- Plan and deliver lessons according to the pre-made curriculum, with the option to use supplementary materials.
- Grade assignments and maintain accurate records of student performance, providing regular feedback.
- Collaborate with a Korean co-teacher to plan activities and support students.
Locations:
- Suji Campus: Conveniently located with access to Seoul and Bundang, offering a family-friendly environment.
- Dongtan Campus: A modern city with excellent transport links to Seoul and a vibrant foreign teacher community.
Working Conditions:
- Start Date: March 2026
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–16:30
- Teaching Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30–14:25
- Class Size: Up to 12 students
- Training: Provided
- Visa: E-2 or F-series visas required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (required for visa sponsorship)
- Native or near-native English proficiency
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience and passion for teaching young children
- Availability of required documents: apostilled diploma, federal criminal background check, and medical check result
Salary and Benefits:
- Base Salary: 3,250,000 KRW per month or higher, based on experience
- Extra Pay: Additional opportunities for after-school and elementary classes
- Benefits: Paid vacation, severance pay, enrollment in national insurances, and support for key money (housing deposit)
