Carrot English is in search of Korean-English Bilingual instructors (Gyopo or Native Korean) for conducting 1:1 online English classes for elementary and middle school junior learners. The aim is to enhance grammar and conversation skills through natural English contexts.

[Job Responsibilities]

- Conduct scheduled video lessons via Zoom

- Prepare and teach using assigned textbooks and syllabus

- Provide explanations in Korean when necessary to aid in grammar and concept understanding

- Student age group: higher elementary to middle school

[Class Format]

- After the Korean Teacher’s lesson, students have a follow-up session on the same topic and textbook with a native-speaking teacher

- No direct communication between Korean teachers and native English teachers. Classes are conducted on a 1:1 basis with students

[Working Conditions]

- Contract Period: June to December 2025 (with approximately 2 weeks off in September)

- Working Days & Hours (negotiable):

A) Mon & Thu: 17:00–22:00

B) Tue & Fri: 17:00–22:00

C) Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 17:00–22:00

- Work Format: Remote / Online teaching from home

- Hourly Pay: 18,000 to 22,000 KRW

[Required Qualifications]

- Must possess a stable online teaching environment: Desktop PC, Wired internet connection (Wi-Fi not allowed), Headset, and webcam required

- Capable of submitting agreement forms for background checks and use of administrative data

- English major graduates: diploma required

- Non-English majors: TESOL certificate required
