Job Description:
An excellent full-time opportunity, teaching at a private school (Hagwon) in Daegu, South Korea is available starting at the END OF FEBRUARY.
*Available to Native English Speakers*
Looking for a friendly teacher who loves working with young children! This includes kindergarten students in the morning and elementary students in the afternoon. This position is open to applicants who are currently living in Korea.
Location: Suseong Lake area, Daegu (Suseongmot TBC –Yellow line)
Start date: End of February (training) Teaching starts beginning of March
Benefits:
1. Salary starts 2.6 m~ (Negotiable w/ experience)
2. Single furnished apartment provided or housing allowance. (starts 350,000 / negotiable)
• (10-15 min walk from school)
3. Pension/Medical insurance/Severance
• Paid Vacation (6 days Summer and 6 days Winter) + National Holidays Off
• Happy Day (leaving work early at 4pm, twice a month)
4. Working visa is sponsored.
Working Conditions:
1. Working hours: 8:50am – 5:20pm Mon-Fri. (No weekends)
• 9am-3pm Kinder class / homeroom teacher / 3 hrs of teaching per day
• 3pm-5pm After School / Elementary class / 1 hr of teaching per day
2. All teaching materials provided.
3. Training Provided
4. Class size:
• Kinder: 10-18 students
• Elementary/After School: 2-9 students (1 hr/per class)
5. Special Events: Field Trips, Sports Day, Open Class, Bono Uniform Day, Orientation(on a weekend), Graduation, and Holiday Celebrations, etc. (no weekends)
