About Us
EDISEN Academy is seeking passionate teachers who believe they can bring out the best in elementary school children. Our institution was established in 2013 and currently has over 30 staff members and 800 attending students in two campuses, Daechi (Hanti station) and Bundang (Sunae station).
EDISEN admits students through a strict admissions process that ensures that our learners are ready to engage with advanced material. Their English proficiency is overall some of the highest in the country for their age, and all our students would have no problem immediately acclimating to classrooms abroad in English-speaking countries.
Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for both students and teachers. In the classroom, students learn by interacting and discussing with peer groups while following the basic principles of Kagan Cooperative Learning. Your teaching will be supported and guided by a thorough curriculum developed by the EDISEN R&D Team.

Requirements:
We require you to have the following:
• 4-year or 2-year Bachelor’s degree with an apostilled diploma
• E2 or F Visa
• At least two years teaching in Korea
• Native English proficiency, Fluent Korean

Job Description
• Teach 1 or 2 grades based on assignment
• Learn and adapt to EDISEN’s curriculum and pedagogy
• Grade and edit students’ work
• Consult with parents and students in Korean
• Prep for lessons based on materials provided by the R&D
Working Conditions
• Option to work 4 days (Mon-Tues, Thurs-Fri) or 6 days (Mon-Sat)
• Working hours (may slightly differ by campus):
o Gr.1: 1:20pm – 8:00pm
o Gr.2: 1:20pm – 8:40pm
o Gr.3-4 : 2:20pm – 9:40pm
o Gr.5-6 : 2:30pm – 9:50pm
• Students per class:
o Gr.1-3 : 8
o Gr.4 : 10
o Gr.5-6 : 12
• Vacations
o Three to four one-week vacations per year (spring, summer, and winter)
o Several “flex” long-weekends for National Holidays
• Salary
o 4 days : Starts at 3.4 million KRW
o 6 days : Starts at 5.1 million KRW
o Salary can be negotiated in the final interview based on the mock class performance
o Severance pay for working for more than one year
o Housing is not provided
